The newsletter sponsorship vetting checklist

What Clariq reviews before a newsletter or niche website becomes discoverable.

Why curation matters

A directory becomes less useful when anyone can publish unsupported audience claims. Clariq is open for applications, but every storefront is reviewed before it enters discovery.

The objective is not to reward only large publications. It is to confirm that the property is real, consistently maintained and represented accurately.

What is reviewed

Review combines identity, ownership, publishing history, audience evidence and advertising readiness. Connected Beehiiv data can establish ownership and metric provenance; other publications can use public evidence and a review call.

  • Verified account and reachable work email
  • Control of the publication or website
  • Recent, consistent publishing activity
  • Audience figures with a named source
  • Clear placement specifications and examples
  • Transparent pricing, lead time and restrictions

Approval is not permanent certification

Storefront information changes. Material edits can return to review, and misleading information can result in removal.

Brands remain responsible for assessing commercial fit. Clariq’s review improves information quality; it does not guarantee campaign performance.
