Brand safety and creative compliance for newsletter advertising

How Clariq checks claims, assets and placement fit before creative reaches a media owner.

Two approvals protect the relationship

Clariq checks the advertiser’s submission against platform rules and the selected placement specification. The media owner then makes the final editorial and commercial decision.

Human approval remains authoritative. Automated tools may identify missing fields in future, but they should not approve creators or advertising claims.

What a review considers

The standard depends on product category and target market. At minimum, the reviewer looks for a truthful identity, a functioning destination, substantiated claims and assets that match the booked format.

  • Misleading or unverifiable claims
  • Regulated-product disclosures
  • Copyright and permission for supplied media
  • Prohibited categories defined by the creator
  • Destination-page consistency
  • Malware, deceptive redirects or unsafe downloads
  • Clear sponsorship disclosure

Approval is version-specific

A material change to copy, imagery, offer or destination can invalidate approval. Store final approved assets with the booking so everyone knows which version is scheduled.
