Free tool

Write a sponsor block a reader, or their assistant, can understand.

More inboxes now summarise newsletters before a person reads them. Fill in five fields and get a short block that says it is sponsored, says what the product is and who it is for, and carries one link, with a check of what could trip a reader or a filter. It runs in your browser and invents nothing: it only arranges what you type.

What it will not do: promise that a summary mentions you, or add hidden text for an assistant to read. That is manipulation and it backfires.

Nothing you type here leaves this page.

9 of 9 checks pass

  • Pass: Every field is filled
  • Pass: Says it is sponsored, first
  • Pass: Says what the product is in plain words
  • Pass: No hype words anywhere
  • Pass: The offer is something a reader can do
  • Pass: One https link, nothing else
  • Pass: Under 90 words
  • Pass: No capital-letter runs or exclamation marks
  • Pass: Not addressed to an assistant

This only means the block is plain and complete. It does not mean any inbox summary will mention it. Nobody has shown that, so test it on a real issue: send it to a Gmail and an Apple Mail address and read the summaries.
